HOW IT WORKS
Standard & grey coverage preparation:

For all standard colour services ColourU is mixed at a ratio of 1:1.5.

EG 50g ColourU colour + 75g ColourU developer

Mix with 5,10,20,30 or 40 vol depending on desired lift

Developer guide

5VOL (1.5%) NO LIFT
*Demi colouring and colouring light to dark shades. Process 20 minutes.
*Toning and fashion reflects on blonde hair. Process up to 20 minutes.
*Gentle pre lightening. Process up to 45 minutes.

10VOL (3%) UP TO ONE LEVEL OF LIFT
*To lighten 1 level and non resistant grey coverage. Process 35-45 minutes.
*Blonde toning. process up to 20 minutes.

20VOL (6%) UP TO 2 LEVELS OF LIFT
*To lighten up to 2 levels and grey coverage. Process 35-45 minutes,
*Pre lightening. Process up to 20 minutes.


30VOL (9%) LIFT UP TO 3 LEVELS
*To lighten up to 3 levels and grey coverage. Process 40-45 minutes.
*Pre lightening. Process up to 20 minutes.

40VOL (12%) LIFT UP TO 4 LEVELS
*To lighten up to 4 levels. Process 45 minutes.

*40vol superlifters: To lighten 4-5 levels with superlifters. Process 45-60 minutes.

GREY COVERAGE GUIDE:
Non resistant hair
20g natural (1-10) + 20g reflect +60g developer. Process 45 minutes.

Resistant hair
20g intense natiral (.00) + 20g reflect + 60g developer.
N.B. When working with reflect shades .32, .23, .4 and .12 add up to 5g gold .3

Technical guide:
ColourU Clear will lift up to 2 levels of artificial colour and remain on the same reflect when mixed with 40vol (12%) developer. Always check the hair's chemical history before proceeding.

TIPS:
-Follow the preparation guide for best results.
-Use scales for correct measuring and consistency.
-Use plastic or glass bowls when mixing. Never use metallic items as this may cause reactions to colour.
-Use natiral 1-10 series for non resistant grey coverage.
-Only use Intense Natural .00 series for resistant grey coverage.



SUPER LIFTERS:
The ColourU Super Lifter 12 series are designed for natural level 6 and up and deliver 4-5 levels of lift.

Super Lifter Ratio

EG 30g ColourU colour + 60g ColourU developer

Natural level 6 + 40 vol
Natural lvel 7 + 30 or 40 vol
Natural lvel 8-0 _ 20 vol

Super Lifters as toners:
Ratio 1:2
Use with 5 or 10 vol developer
Process up to 20 minutes

When toning with ash on pre lightened yellow hair add 1/3 of beige .32 to your formula to prevent a green ash result.

Do not add clear to super lifters as this will dilute the toning levels of these colours.
