How much does shipping cost?

All New Zealand orders over  $99.00NZD are freight free. 
For all New Zealand orders under $99.00NZD a small freight charge will be applied.

  • Orders from $0.00- $30.00NZD  shipping is $9.50
  • Orders from $30.01 up to $99.00NZD shipping is $10.50
  • We can not ship to PO box address so please provide a street address.
  • We can not ship aerosol goods at this time so on some products you will see instore only.

Australian Shipping

We do ship orders to Australia, however we unfortunately cannot ship aerosol goods.
For orders up to the value of $85.00NZD a shipping charge of $29.00NZD applies.
For orders $85.01NZD and over a shipping charge of $39.00NZD applies.
For orders $200.00NZD and over a shipping charge of $45.00NZD applies.

International Shipping

We will happily ship to our overseas customers, Aerosol goods however can not be shipped.
All orders will be in New Zealand Dollars. Your shipping will be automatically selected when you arrive at the checkout.

What methods are accepted for payment?

Valid methods of payment include credit card, debit cards, internet banking/ direct deposit. Cheques are not accepted.
For internet banking/direct deposit please allow 1-3 working days for payment clearance. Expect delays on orders placed on Fridays, weekends, public holidays and during peak times ie; Christmas.
Internet banking/direct deposits made after 10pm on Fridays will not show in the account until Tuesday.

How long will my order to take to arrive?

Urban New Zealand orders are delivered by New Zealand Couriers, the target delivery time is between 1-3 working days. All orders will receive a tracking code via email which can be tracked on www.nzcouriers.co.nz.

Rural and some large New Zealand orders are delivered by Pass the Parcel.If your parcel is being delivered through this company you will receive an email with the tracking code and you will also receive email updates from pass the parcel. The target delivery time is between 1-3 working days. www.passtheparcel.co.nz.


Expect delays on orders placed on Fridays, weekends, public holidays and during peak times ie; Christmas.
Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays can not be shipped until Monday.

  • Australian orders are not tracked, and an estimated time frame for delivery is 3-10 working days.
  • International orders are not tracked, an estimated time frame for delivery  is 5-20 working days.

Please note that if you select the incorrect shipping option, this will result in delays for your order being dispatched. Once the correct amount has been paid and received, your order will then be sent.

What if my order hasn't arrived?

New Zealand couriers: Enter your tracking code number on www.nzcouriers.co.nz and check the delivery status of your parcel. You may find that your parcel is waiting for you at your local New Zealand Couriers depot.

Pass the Parcel: Enter your tracking code on www.passtheparcel.co.nz and check the delivery status of your parcel. With this delivery service you are emailed updates on your parcels whereabouts using the email address supplied when you placed your order.

For internet banking/direct deposit please allow 1-3 working days for payment clearance. Expect delays on orders placed on Fridays, weekends, public holidays and during peak times ie; Christmas.
If you are still unable to locate your parcel, contact us on (06) 359 1034, or email hairworks@inspire.net.nz, and we will get in contact with the couriers and locate it for you.

Instore loyalty programme

What are the benefits and why should you join?

With Hairworks Extra instore loyalty programme there are no cards to clutter up your wallet and no expiry time on your points.

Once you have spent $250 on products (excluding specials/promotions, litre bottles and electrical goods) you will receive a $25 credit to spend (credit can't be used on salon services).

We will have a record of all your purchases so you won't need to remember the products you have bought. We can look them up for you so you can save time.

You are welcome to shop at either store as your loyalty points transfers to both stores.

Ask in store today or sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of the home page to receive our special offers.

 Unfortunately at this time the instore loyalty programme doesn't extend to online orders.
